The Woodley Times is an online magazine about the world in which we live and the people that we meet.

The Woodley Times originated from a dodgy flat in North London back in February 1996. It was the purchase of a virgin computer for the balding Dave Woodley that sowed the initial seed. Originally intended for use purely as a games and entertainment console, the baldy one began not to increase his high score on Defender or slash aliens in Doom, but to fiddle with the desk top publishing software packages instead. Lines of twaddle soon became pages of twaddle and the first Woodley Times was born....telling tales and tall stories.

Early Woodleys.

As time wore on, so did the tales and the Woodley readership expanded with it (it was posted free to whoever wanted or didn't want it). Now the same old tosh and some new twaddle can be found on a worldwide web platform for those that have nothing better to do.

The Future
Now that we're online and with heaps of web space to fill with your help, there can only be more of the same. Lemon stories and total twaddle. No worries.
