History of the Brian Talbot Memorial Classic
The BT Classic is a pool tournament with its' origins dating back to the early eighties in Dunedin, New Zealand. Originally called The Gardens Classic (after the tavern in which it was first played), it was organised by the late Brian Talbot who organised the event whilst it was held in Dunedin. The tournament moved to London in the late nineties where it was renamed The London Gardies, and then subsequently after the tragic death of its' founder, renamed the BT Classic in his honour.

The event is now an annual sporting occasion attracting some of the worlds' worst pool players in an often altogether futile attempt to win the coveted trophy in honour of the wee man.
