Dear All!
Well have been unable to frequent the cyber café
as I normally do, have been for the last two weeks enjoying
every aspect of Barcelona that I could possibly find, sad
to leave that city really do love it lots and had made a
few good friends there, actually a tearful event, our local
pub had champagne and cake for us, unfortunately we were
unable to eat it..........too drunk!

So here I am in Gibraltar..........Interesting place this
rock! Had heard that it is just a rock, but then beauty
is in the eye of the beholder and I like to think that I
can sense and feel things other than the average person....such
as the sweet aroma of fresh Fish and Chips encircling my
head and nasal passages enticing me into sampling most of
the shops in town!, true blue English Fish and Chips and
not to mention the smell of an old English pub, particularly
the next morning at opening, arhh... the sweet smell of
stale cigarette and beer soaked into the carpet. Did I mention
that a packet of ciggy's is 82p each! Needless to say I
have thrown out my vast fashionable, designer label clothing
and stocked my wardrobe chocker block with Marlboro Lights!
( and under my bed and in my draws and in the bathroom cupboard!
)
So last nights antics for a quiet drink, as you all know
I love those....... was to mix with the locals, and what
a mixture of locals there is, you think London is a melting
pot.....well put that into a pop30,000 in a 3mile sq rock,
with Moroccans, English, Germans, Indians, Gibraltians,
Italians, Spanish and so on!
Anyway we were rest assured that the Jazz club was the best
club in town......rock on!!!!!!

Can not remember the last time I heard Karaoke with people
actually enjoying it and taking it seriously, thought I
might treat the locals to a sample of my fine soprano....lucky
for them I ran out of money!
Anyway that's Gibraltar, we are just hanging out here due
to 21ft seas that we would rather not tackle at present,(actually
I would like to, I find it fun!) due to our thrashing down
here......which due to most crew being sea sick and unable
to eat, I was more than happy to eat their share! Sitting
at the dinner table by myself! Actually quite chuffed about
that!
So tomorrow we have to head off regardless, as the boss
is joining us in the Gran Canaries and we have a tight schedule.
Will be quiet odd actually working again, have been having
difficulty organizing flowers, transport and all that guff
as my spanish is very grim (actually non existant to be
honest!) and am not familiar with that area, so I'm having
fun spending hours on the telephone trying to get every
thing back into shipshape (excuse the pun!).

Well fellow crew have just popped in and requested my presence
to join them on a tad of tax free shopping...would be rude
not to. At present there has been no more mention of South
America, still think about changing jobs but why leave a
good thing and also getting a pay rise.... new crew make
a difference. I guess that keeps from boring me and one
person I did dislike is GONE Ya hoo!. So you are reading
a postcard from a very happy, content bunny who loves life!
So on that note I wish you all a fabulous day today and
tomorrow, who knows what will happen the day after that!!!
O.K. I'm starting to woffle now so take care, love you all
lots and lots.
Luv LouXXX
GOOD EFFORT AYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
